How to Make Filipino Lugaw Asian Cooking Recipe Cuisine

This recipe was taken from centuries old cooking techniques and when possible applied modern cooking methods and/or ingredients. It uses Asian cooking styles, Asian Spices, Asian Sauces and Asian Ingredients. The style of cooking may have a slight alteration while still maintaining the dish's overall purpose. Recipe makes for 4 Servings
1 cup long grain white rice
4 to 5 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup pork floss
Directions:
1. Pour water in a cooking pot. Bring to a boil. Put-in the rice. Continue cooking for 30 minutes or until the texture becomes thick, while stirring once in a while.
2. Add the salt, stir and then cook for 2 minutes more.
3. Transfer to a serving bowl. Top with a tablespoon of pork floss.
*For more flavor add crispy fried garlic on top or hardboiled egg!
