How to Make Chinese Szechuan Bang Bang Chicken Asian Cooking Recipe Cuisine
China Szechuan Bang Bang Chicken
This recipe was taken from centuries old cooking techniques and when possible applied modern cooking methods and/or ingredients. It uses Asian cooking styles, Asian Spices, Asian Sauces and Asian Ingredients. The style of cooking may have a slight alteration while still maintaining the dish's overall purpose. Recipe makes for 2 Servings
2 chicken breasts
1 medium cucumber
SAUCE:
5 tbsp peanut butter
2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp stock
1/2 tsp chili sauce
Directions:
1. Simmer the chicken in a pan of water for 30 minutes. When cooked, cut into 1/2-inch thick strips.
2. Thinly slice the cucumber. Spread cucumber on a large serving platter. Pile the shredded chicken on top.
3. Mix ingredients for the sauce (excepting the chili sauce). Pour evenly over the chicken.
4. Add the chili sauce on top of the peanut sauce.
