How to Make Iranian Persian Kabob Asian Cooking Recipe Cuisine

This recipe was taken from centuries old cooking techniques and when possible applied modern cooking methods and/or ingredients. It uses Asian cooking styles, Asian Spices, Asian Sauces and Asian Ingredients. The style of cooking may have a slight alteration while still maintaining the dish's overall purpose. In this blog we touch on recipes that may be predominant for the Chinese Cuisines. Some cuisines are considered South Asian, South East Asian dishes, Central Asian and/or Middle Eastern and may not be strictly connected to a specific country or culture.
Recipe makes for 6 Servings
1 (8 ounce) container plain low-fat yogurt
1 onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried mint
2 pounds beef top sirloin, cut into large cubes
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, onion, and mint. Place the beef cubes in the mixture. Cover, and marinate at least 6 hours in the refrigerator.
2. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
3. Place the marinated beef cubes on skewers, and grill, turning occasionally, 15 minutes, or to desired doneness.
