Thailand Green Mango Salad
This recipe was taken from centuries old cooking techniques and when possible applied modern cooking methods and/or ingredients. It uses Asian cooking styles, Asian Spices, Asian Sauces and Asian Ingredients. The style of cooking may have a slight alteration while still maintaining the dish's overall purpose. Recipe makes for 2-3 Servings
1 pc. green mango
10 pcs. Wansoy stem, chopped (cilantro)
5 pcs. Sliced shallot
¼ cup fish sauce
2 tbsp. calamansi juice
¼ cup sugar
3 tbsp. chopped red bell pepper
2 pcs. Chili
Directions:
1. Shred the mango. You can use a large grater or a peeler to get strips
2. Add wansoy stem, onions, red bell pepper, chili, patis, calamansi juice and sugar.
3. Garnish with cilantro leaves.
Great when served cool and during hot summer months!
