How to Make Korean Pork and Daikon Stir-Fry Asian Cooking Recipe Cuisine
Korea Pork and Daikon Stir-Fry
This recipe was taken from centuries old cooking techniques and when possible applied modern cooking methods and/or ingredients. It uses Asian cooking styles, Asian Spices, Asian Sauces and Asian Ingredients. The style of cooking may have a slight alteration while still maintaining the dish's overall purpose. In this blog we touch on recipes that may be predominant for the Chinese Cuisines. Some cuisines are considered South Asian, South East Asian, Central Asian and/or Middle Eastern and may not be strictly connected to a specific country or culture.
Recipe makes for 2-3 Servings
8-12 oz. lean pork cut into 1/2-inch strips
1 daikon, peeled and cubed
1 shallot, sliced thin
4 small hot peppers, chopped
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
2 tbsp sesame seeds toasted with a pinch of brown sugar
1 tbsp white pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
Directions:
Heat some oil in a wok or frying pan over high heat.
Add pork. Stir around for 2 minutes to brown on all sides.
Add daikon, shallots, hot peppers and ginger. Stir around for 2 minutes.
Add sesame seeds, pinch of sugar, white pepper and soy sauce to taste. Stir around for an additiona minute.
Serve hot over rice.
