How to Make Asian Fish Stir-Fry Asian Cooking Recipe Cuisine

Asia Fish Stir-Fry


This recipe was taken from centuries old cooking techniques and when possible applied modern cooking methods and/or ingredients.  It uses Asian cooking styles, Asian Spices, Asian Sauces and Asian Ingredients.  The style of cooking may have a slight alteration while still maintaining the dish's overall purpose.  In this blog we touch on recipes that may be predominant for the Chinese Cuisines.  We will also share recipes based upon country, or regions such as: Burma, Cambodia, Indian, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Tibet and Vietnam.  Some cuisines are considered South Asian, South East Asian, Central Asian and/or Middle Eastern and may not be strictly connected to a specific country or culture.



Recipe makes for 2-3 Servings

1 lb white fish fillet, cut into bite-size pcs.

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp ginger

1 tbsp garlic

1 tbsp scallion

1 cup carrots, julienned

1 cup edamame

1 tbsp lemon grass, minced

1/4 cup coconut milk

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp coriander

1 tsp sambal or Thai hot sauce

*you can use any type of fish like red snapper, tilapia or cod.

Directions:


Add a little oil to the wok or frying and heat over medium-high heat.

Add ginger, garlic, scallions and carrots. Stir for 1 minute.

Add fish, edamame and lemongrass. Stir around for 2 minutes.

Add coconut milk, soy sauce, coriander and sambal or hot sauce to taste. Stir around for an additional minute.


Serve over hot rice.
